1. App Architecture & Mobile Navigation

MicroReceipts utilizes a high-efficiency two-tab segmented workstation engineered specifically for fast mobile touchscreens:

• 📝 Receipt Builder (Tab 1): The active data entry terminal where merchant profile, customer info, itemized products, and VAT calculations are configured.
• 🧾 Preview & Share (Tab 2): An authentic thermal POS slip simulation that dynamically updates in real time, accompanied by 1-tap dispatch triggers.

On mobile phones, tap "👁️ Review Receipt →" at the base of the Builder to glide smoothly to the Preview tab. Tap "← Back to Receipt Builder" to edit items with zero data loss.

2. Business Identity & Branding

Start at the Business Information card. Your entries are saved automatically on your phone so you only type them once:

• Business Name: Your registered business or trading name (e.g. Trinidad Tech Solutions).
• Contact Phone: Your business WhatsApp or mobile number (e.g. +1 868 555 0192).
• Location / Address: Store address or service radius (e.g. Chaguanas, Trinidad).
• VAT / Registration No.: (Optional) BIR Tax Number or registration serial (e.g. REG-84920 or VAT-109283).
• Custom Brand Logo PRO: Tap "📷 Upload Logo" to attach your company graphic from your phone's camera roll. It appears on all thermal slips and PDF printouts.

3. Customer Information

Enter the buyer's details for direct delivery and itemized record-keeping:

• Customer Name: Client or business entity name (defaults to "Walk-in Client" if left blank).
• Customer WhatsApp / Phone: Enter standard 7-digit (765-4321) or international format (868-765-4321). This powers 1-tap WhatsApp direct delivery without having to save the number to your contacts.

4. Adding Items & 3 Sales Workflows

MicroReceipts provides three flexible workflows adapted to any sales velocity:

Workflow A: Quick Total Mode (Fastest — 3 Seconds)

Ideal for flat-rate trades, mobile deliveries, or quick services. Keep Row 1, type a description (e.g. Bumper Repair), enter Qty: 1, and input the total fee.

Workflow B: Itemized Multi-Item Auto-Sum

Ideal for multi-item retail, grocery baskets, or parts + labour:

1. Input description, quantity, and unit price in Row 1.
2. Tap "+ Add Item" to spawn additional line items.
3. The engine auto-tallies Qty × Unit Price, calculates VAT, and sums the grand total live.
4. Tap the 🗑️ Delete icon to discard any item immediately.

Workflow C: Quick-Add Catalog Chips ("3-Second Builder") PRO

Tap any saved catalog chip above the items table (e.g. Labour ($150), Delivery ($50)) to inject product descriptions and prices instantly with zero typing. Manage and save catalog presets anytime in the 📁 Catalog manager.

5. Regional Currency, VAT & Payments

Tailor your sales parameters to Caribbean and international commerce:

• Smart Timezone Geofencing: MicroReceipts auto-detects your local jurisdiction via device timezone (Trinidad $\rightarrow$ TTD & 12.5%, Jamaica $\rightarrow$ JMD & 15%, Barbados $\rightarrow$ BBD & 17.5%, USA $\rightarrow$ USD & 0%, UK $\rightarrow$ GBP & 0%) with 0 permissions and 0 latency. All presets can be manually modified and are saved locally.
• Regional Currency Selector: Switch between TTD, USD, JMD, BBD, XCD, GYD, EUR, or GBP anytime.
• VAT & Sales Tax: Choose between standard 0% (exempt), 12.5% (T&T), 15% (Jamaica), 17.5% (Barbados), or choose Custom Rate... to enter any exact tax percentage.
• Payment Methods: Select Cash, Wam Pay, WiPay (Card), LINX Debit, Direct Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, Zelle, Cash App, or Cheque.
• Payment Links & Cashtags: Add your Wam Pay link, Cash App $cashtag, or Zelle info to render payment instructions directly on the receipt.

6. Live Thermal Receipt Preview

Switch to the 🧾 Preview & Share tab to view your thermal receipt replica:

• Rendered with high-contrast thermal receipt typography, dashed tear lines, and auto-generated receipt identifiers (e.g. REC-1042).
• Displays auto-incrementing serial sequence and exact timestamp.
• PRO users display their custom brand logo and remove the platform watermark.

7. Delivering Receipts (3 Output Actions)

Action 1: 📱 1-Tap WhatsApp Direct Delivery

Formats a clean, structured text invoice and launches WhatsApp directly into the client's chat without saving contacts:

Stores the completed sale record into your offline local history store with deduplication.

8. History Tracking & Universal QuickBooks Export

Tap 📋 History in the top header to access your offline ledger:

• Live Metrics: Track total receipts count, gross revenue, and total VAT collected.
• Receipt Reload: Tap any past receipt to reload, reprint, or resend via WhatsApp.
• Universal QuickBooks & Excel Export PRO: Tap "📊 Export CSV" to download an official QuickBooks Online Invoices CSV:
  Invoice no, Customer, Invoice date, Due date, Item, Item description, Item quantity, Item rate, Item amount, Tax amount, Payment method, Currency
  Ready for direct upload into QuickBooks Online (Gear Icon → Import Data → Invoices), Excel, Google Sheets, or local BIR tax audits.
